Move over, Hamilton! Aaron Jafferis & Gihieh Lee’s Shakespeare: The Remix, one of theREP’s most beloved touring productions, is heading your way. A hip teenage girl finds herself in a verbal battle with the Bard himself, while tackling some of the powerful women in Shakespeare’s lexicon. Students will experience excerpts from Hamlet, Macbeth, Merchant of Venice and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The piece highlights the power of language found in Shakespeare’s works and compares it with that of early hip-hop and slam poetry. Perfect for the whole family, join us for the one public performance of our fall On-The-Go!In-School Tour of Shakespeare: The Remix.

Fall in love this holiday season alongside Amalia and George, the feuding store clerks, who find solace in their secret lonely-hearts pen pals.  Little do they know, they are actually writing to each other! A tangle of mistaken identity and hilarious encounters finally bring these soulmates together with a tuneful and witty score celebrated with numerous Tony, Olivier and Drama Desk Awards.  This confection of a musical is based on the timeless story by Miklos Laszlo that also served as inspiration for the classic film The Shop Around the Corner and more recently You've Got Mail. Considered by many to be one of the most charming musicals ever written, She Loves Me is a warm romantic comedy with an endearing innocence and a touch of old world elegance perfect for all ages!

Stephen Karam’s The Humans is an uproarious, hopeful, and heartbreaking play that takes place over the course of a family dinner on Thanksgiving. Breaking with tradition, Erik Blake has brought his Pennsylvania family to celebrate and give thanks at his daughter’s apartment in Lower Manhattan. As darkness falls outside the ramshackle pre-war duplex and eerie things start to go bump in the night, the Blake clan’s deepest fears and greatest follies are laid bare. Our modern age of anxiety is keenly observed, with humor and compassion, in this new American classic that won the 2016 Tony Award® for Best Play.

Please note: This production is the National Broadway Tour being presented at Proctors.
