Subscription policies for the 2017-2018 subscription series
Proctors and theREP
Below are some frequently asked questions (FAQs) about subscription policies at both Proctors and at Capital Repertory Theatre (theREP). Please understand that many of these policies reflect contractual obligations and cannot be modified for individual circumstances.
Can I opt out of a show?
Yes. Subscribers may opt out of one (1) show per subscription. Opt-outs start May 22, 2017 and continue through August 15, 2017. Tickets must be physical present at the box office at the time of opt-out. There are no returns of any kind after August 15, 2017.
May I extend the opt-out policy to “Exclusive” shows I may have purchased?
You may not. Exclusive shows that are not part of the subscription series are not eligible for opt-out.
May I exchange tickets for the same show if I need a different date? And are exchanges subjected to pricing changes?
At Proctors: Same show exchanges are available on most shows up to 24 hours prior, based on availability.
VIP Subscribers at theREP: You can exchange tickets up to curtain time the day of performance.
At both theatres: If you choose a performance and / or seat that is priced higher than the price in your subscription ticket, you must pay the price difference. Tickets must be physically present at the box office to complete any exchanges.
What if I need more tickets to one of the subscription shows?
Subscribers at both Proctors and theREP can purchase add-on tickets to subscription shows before those events go on sale to the general public. Add-on tickets are available starting May 22, 2017. Add-on tickets are full price and subject to the same exchange benefits as subscription tickets.
Are subscribers eligible for discounts to other shows?
Both Proctors and theREP subscribers receive a 10 percent discount for qualifying performances at Proctors. This will be automatically applied online, over the phone or at the Box Office. This discount excludes Lia Club 20 seats and most VIP seats. Other restrictions may apply.
Do subscribers pay ticket fees for non-subscription shows at Proctors?
There are fees for phone transactions ($2 per order) and for online transactions. There are no fees for tickets purchased at either theatre’s Box Office or at our kiosk at Crossgates Mall.
Do subscribers still qualify for “Try Me” tickets?
Yes! One free ticket per theREP and / or Proctors subscription is available from a list of shows to be provided at a later date. Redeem through the Box Office or online by logging into your account and going to “My Passes/Gift Certificates”.
As a subscriber, do I have access to pre-sale events for other shows?
Subscribers of both theREP and Proctors will be notified directly throughout the season as new shows are added to Proctors’ schedule. (Some restrictions may apply.)
If I am a SixTix subscriber at theREP, when can I redeem my subscription for tickets to specific performances?
SixTix subscribers can redeem their six (6) admissions per package to specific performance dates and seats starting May 22, 2017. The six (6) admissions per package can be redeemed all at once or over time and will be subject to seating availability at the time of redemption. If redeeming for The Humans at Proctors, the maximum SixTix admission value will be applied to any tickets of equal or lesser value. Tickets with a higher value will incur additional charges for the difference between the ticket value and the SixTix admission value. SixTix purchased for the 2017-18 season are only valid for shows during that season.
