Dan and Rachel

The humorously unique electro-folk band Dan and Rachel are coming straight from Brooklyn to make their Capital Rep debut. The husband and wife duo has a wild song collection that ranges from loud dance beats to soft folk tunes, from hilarious commentaries to old-school love songs. Their live performances run the gamut of human emotion, with songs about bananas, love, social ills and zombies.

Since 2009, they've toured through internationally renowned venues in 20 different countries, and produced their first full-length album, "Damn Monsters!", in 2011. Dan and Rachel's second album "Plus One" will be released in October on Kale Records. They've taken a break to visit Capital Rep for one exciting night of theatrical songs and stories. They will have advance copies of "Plus One" for sale at this show only! Kale label-mate Debe Dalton and local favorite Michael Eck round out a thrilling event!
